VT - Canaan, 1874-2014 | Theology Library Archives

A Society was organized in 1874 with some 20 members and the next year, in October, the church was built and opened. They joined the New Hampshire Conference in 1939 when the Vermont Conference was abolished. The Church was first the Methodist Episcopal Church of Canaan and then The Grace ME Church.
