1848 First meetings held in a private house called "Mansion House", near Powder Horn Hill. 1850: A class was organized by Rev. William Rice. 1852: Church built. 1953: Church officially organized. 1955: A new and bigger church was built and dedicated. 1907: Dedication of new building after fire in 1905 destroyed the one before it. 1909: Dedication of second new building after fire in 1908 destroyed the previous one. 1935: Church building renovated and expanded.
