1926: Originally called Chapel Hill Church. 1838: Lot on Hurd St. was purchased because there were too many members attending the First ME Church. 1839: New church building dedicated as St. Paul's. 1907: The Church building was almost completely destroyed in a fire and then repaired. 1926: Celebrated the 100th Anniversary of Methodism in Lowell. 1935: The 139th Annual Session of the New England Conference was held at St. Paul's.
