Butters, George S. | Theology Library Archives

George S. Butters was born in Lowell, May 11, 1856, and died in Newton, June 29, 1925. He graduated the College of Liberal Arts of Boston University in 1878 and the Boston University School of Theology in 1881. He was pastor for 40 years and retired in 1921. He was instructor and librarian at the BU School of Theology until his death in 1925.
